Random Acts of Kindness

Lunenburg comes to mind when I think of kindness because it is filled with warm-hearted people and breathtaking scenery. This is where I have discovered that “Random acts of kindness” become part of a daily routine. For people who are reading this from far away, it is hard to understand the culture of Lunenburg without experiencing it. This quaint and friendly town is filled with historic charm and becomes the perfect travel destination if you are looking to engage with a compassionate community. To give you a better understanding, here are a few words from a local friend, River Heim

It feels as if time pauses when you enter Lunenburg because you become surrounded with so many feelings of bliss and positivity. From the ocean air to the colourful harbour, to the no-rush way of living, this picturesque town is a stop where you can truly feel the communities love in so many ways.

Lunenburg is a welcoming escape where random acts of kindness are not so random, but instead they are built within the community and give rise to all sorts of relationships. People are genuinely trying to make the world a better place through their many sincere, unconditional offerings. Whether it is giving a stranger a rose from a flower shop or making eye contact and smiling at strangers while passing by. The culture and community here makes it an extraordinary experience where you can see people truly caring about others.

Should you be considering beautiful views, happy people, a way to expand your horizons, or a place that feels like home, Lunenburg is a must visit. Take it from us, our first visit made us so comfortable we decided we wanted to live here. Someone once told me that living in Lunenburg is the closest thing to living in Paradise, and to tell you the truth, I would be lying if I were to try and disagree.
