This is the most popular room. This king suite is a spacious bedroom with the best water view. As a tribute to the Ship Captain who built this lovely home, this bedroom combines luxury and comfort. The Main Deck has a view to the river and is a guest favourite. Decorated with exquisite taste and nautical artwork, we are sure that you will feel like the captain of your own ship while aboard the Main Deck.

Named after the Nova Scotia Flower, this room provides beautiful scenery with a partial waterfront view. Also known as the "Look out" this room would have been where the ship captains wife would have waited and watched for her husbands boat to come home. Traditionally decorated, this elegant room makes for a comfortable home away from home stay.

Things to Know

- The Space
Guest's who book at Toba's have access to more than just their bedrooms and private ensuite bathrooms. Travellers are welcomed in with a personalized tour of the Ship Captains home. Additionally, during your stay we hope you enjoy a complimentary glass of wine in the common parlour, family room, front verandah or one of the many rooms available to relax in. We want all guests to be aware that we have two rescue dogs on the premise, typically they do not socialize with guests but you may hear the odd bark.
- The Breakfast
All guests receive a homemade three-course breakfast in the dining room where there is a 24/7 coffee/tea area and shared guest fridge. You will pick an agreed upon time to dine, usually between 7-9:30am.
- The Bedrooms
All rooms are double occupancy, have high speed free Wifi, TV, Netflix, Shampooo/Conditioner/Body Wash, are adult only and have a minimum of a 2-night stay!
General House Rules
- Check-in time is from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Check-out is by 10:30 am.
If you are unable to arrive during this time or anticipate later arrival, please let us know. Please note we are a two person staff and if you require an early check-in or late check-out it has to be arranged and there may be an additional fee.
- No smoking inside or outside on the porch.
Our non-smoking policy includes all types of tobacco and marijuana (e-cigarettes, vaping etc.). To smoke on premise please ask about our designated smoking area.
- No pets
There are two rescue dogs on premise and you may hear the odd bark. We do our best keeping our dogs tucked away from guests. Additionally, we are the ultimate animal lovers but for the comfort and convenience of guests, no pets.
- No children
Unfortunately we are not childproof and are unable to accommodate children, ADULT bookings only.

That is why all three of our bedrooms are Smoke Free and accompanied with comfortable beds and linens that will whisk you away into a delightful dreamy slumber!
Hand selected decorations and art fixtures are also customized to create a unique feel in each room.
Our goal is to make sure that you are just as cozy in our home as you are when you are at yours. We want you to understand that our bedrooms were created for you to be able to experience maximum comfort!
