History of the Home

Thanks to the Ship Captain Sydney Corkum (left) and wife Maggie Wilkie (right) who built this home in 1912, guests can relax and rejuvenate while they enjoy breathtaking waterfront views. These two love birds got married in 1911, sailed down to Madrid to honeymoon and came back to build this spectacular home.

This beautiful historic home has been upgraded with modern amenities filling it with warmth, joy and laughter. Toba's Bed & Breakfast creates a luxurious experience with newly renovated bedrooms, each having an updated private ensuite. You have full access to the spacious common rooms such as the living room, family room and dining room. With fine attention to detail and homemade breakfast every morning you will be wanting to extend your stay.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by a mother-daughter team welcoming you into this quaint home with various amenities for your comfort. Toba's is a centrally located point of interest for 2-5 nights while discovering the many amazing attractions located along the South Shore.
