History of the Home

Thanks to the Ship Captain Sydney Corkum (left) and wife Maggie Wilkie (right) who built this home in 1912, guests can relax and rejuvenate while they enjoy breathtaking waterfront views.

This beautiful historic home has been upgraded with modern amenities filling it with warmth, joy and laughter. Toba's Bed & Breakfast creates a luxurious experience with newly renovated bedrooms, each with an updated private ensuite, spacious rooms with full access to living room, family room and dining room, fine attention to detail, and homemade breakfast every morning.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by a mother-daughter team welcoming you into this quaint home with various amenities for your comfort. Toba's is a centrally located point of interest for 2-5 nights while discovering the many amazing attractions located along the South Shore.
